Ukraine developments | Putin-Zelensky meeting not yet scheduled.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is not currently scheduled, but could take place if a suitable agenda is prepared.

He said in an interview with NBC News last night, Friday: “Such a meeting is not yet scheduled, of course, Putin is ready to meet with Zelensky when the agenda for the meeting is prepared. The agenda is not yet fully prepared.”

Lavrov also announced yesterday that Putin is ready to hold talks with Zelensky if all issues requiring consideration at the highest level are fully prepared.

In the interview, the Russian Foreign Minister noted that Moscow had agreed to a number of proposals made by US President Donald Trump after the meeting in Alaska to show its flexibility. Sergey Lavrov said, “During the Anchorage talks, President Trump proposed several points on which we have a common view and agreed to some of them to show flexibility.”
