PNN – In an interview with Euronews channel, several Ukrainian soldiers expressed concern about the end of American support to Kiev in the war against Russia, and demanded that their government compromise with Washington to end the war.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from this TV channel, Ukrainian soldiers say that in order to end the war in this country, both the American and Ukrainian sides must show compromise.
Soldiers of the 92nd Assault Brigade of Ukraine, in a conversation with this media, reacted to the tense meeting of the US President Donald Trump with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky.
A soldier, who asked to remain anonymous, using the pseudonym Edo, said that “many politicians don’t even know what happens to him and his ilk in the war, and that’s basically why tensions like the one we saw at the White House meeting on Friday are happening.”

Edo added: All parties must play their part, the soldiers must only focus on the war and the politicians must travel and negotiate to ensure that the soldiers have what it takes to destroy the enemy. He then emphasized that Zelensky has acted well in this regard and said: I am completely with the Commander-in-Chief (Zelensky).
In an interview with Euronews, another soldier, who, according to the correspondent of this media, had a better understanding of the US point of view, said that he understands the concerns of the American authorities. He then added that if the US support for Ukraine is cut off, the situation in Kiev will significantly worsen.
This soldier said: Perhaps it is true from the point of view of American leaders. But we know for sure that Washington has been the guarantor of security, and now that they are withdrawing, it is not clear what will happen. I do not know much about this. But I am sure about one thing; without their support, it would be difficult. Not just hard, but very hard.
Another soldier argued that Washington and Kiev should compromise in order to pursue peace. He added that Ukraine’s security is as important to Europe as it is to the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. If this aggression and advance is not stopped, the enemy will start moving towards other borders of Europe. I think Europe will regret not helping us then.
Volodymyr Zelensky’s meeting with Donald Trump at the White House on Friday turned into a verbal dispute, and the Ukrainian president left the White House early in an unexpected move. The tension came after Trump reiterated his position to reduce US aid to Ukraine and focus on negotiations with Russia. On the other hand, Zelensky, who is worried about the reduction of US financial and military aid, described Trump’s approach as a “blow to European security”. In response, Trump accused Zelensky of “disrespecting the United States” and said he was not ready for peace.
