UN: 500,000 Palestinians displaced since the war began.
According to the AFP news agency, the spokesman for the UN Secretary-General announced that, following the resumption of attacks on the Gaza Strip, about half a million Palestinians have been displaced.
This figure is the latest sign of the severity of the humanitarian crisis in the region, which has been the target of widespread attacks by the Zionist regime for months.
At the same time, the Israeli Channel 14 TV also reported that hundreds of Gaza residents have voluntarily emigrated today via Jordan to 12 European countries, including France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
Israeli security sources estimate that more than 50,000 people have left the Gaza Strip since the start of the recent war.
This new wave of displacement continues the historical process of forced migration of Palestinians; a process that began with the “Nakba” disaster in 1948 and has continued to this day in the form of wars, sieges, and destruction of infrastructure.
Today, the Palestinian people are once again faced with the bitter reality of forced migration and a widespread humanitarian crisis.
