PNN – The UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator promised that investigations would be conducted into the systematic executions and detentions in El Fasher.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, Tom Fletcher, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, issued a statement saying: We are trying to reach El Fasher. Delivering aid to El Fasher will be a daunting task.
The UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator continued: El-Fasher will be considered a crime scene for investigations into reports of systematic executions and detentions.

Tom Fletcher then added: It is essential to provide a safe route for humanitarian aid workers to enter El Fasher and for survivors to leave the area.
The Sudanese Doctors Network previously reported recording more than 30 cases of sexual assault against girls in El Fasher in the week following the Rapid Support Forces’ attack on the city.
The network explained that some of the rapes occurred after the rapid support forces arrived in El Fasher, while others were raped while trying to escape to the stable.
The network condemned “repeated cases of sexual assault” against women and girls in El Fasher, holding the Rapid Support Forces responsible.
