PNN – The Deputy Spokesperson of the United Nations announced that the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) is the “backbone” of humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesperson of the United Nations told reporters: From our point of view, UNRWA is the backbone of humanitarian aid and we believe that UNRWA is irreplaceable.
His comments came after UNRWA chief Philip Lazzarini said that an Israeli Knesset bill to ban the agency’s activities in the occupied Palestinian territories will take effect in less than four weeks.
The Deputy Spokesperson of the United Nations said: The collapse of UNRWA operations as a result of the implementation of this law will lead to great suffering for the people who are currently enduring severe hardships.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights announced after more than a year of Israel’s war in Gaza that the human rights disaster continues in Gaza before the eyes of the world and stating that Israel has not proven its claims about Gaza hospitals, he asked this regime to facilitate humanitarian aid, especially health care for Palestinians, and to end its continuous presence in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Volker Turk said: A human rights tragedy continues in Gaza before the eyes of the world.
