UNICEF: 3,000 Palestinian children are at risk of dying of hunger’
According to Al Jazeera, the United Nations Children’s Fund called UNICEF strongly warned today (Tuesday) about the deplorable conditions of Palestinian children in Gaza.
Based on this, the statement published by this fund states: More than 3,000 Palestinian children in Gaza are now severely malnourished, and their access to medical services has been cut off, putting them at risk of dying in the arms of their parents. .
This statement adds: The displacement of Palestinians due to the continuation of the Gaza war has practically affected their access to medical services, and it is not possible to provide proper services to the displaced people. Although the entry of humanitarian items and food into the northern areas of Gaza is now possible to a small extent, the access to these aids in the southern areas has been greatly reduced.
UNICEF emphasizes: “Horrible images are emerging from Gaza, where starving children are dying in their parents’ arms due to lack of food, nutritional supplements, and destruction of medical infrastructure.”
This UN-affiliated organization requested the Zionist regime to open the crossings in Gaza for humanitarian aid to enter this strait, noting that UNICEF has more food in its possession, which it can send to Palestinian children if it is allowed access to the Gaza Strip.
