UNICEF: Gaza’s children are fighting for survival.

According to Al-Mayadeen, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) issued a statement warning about the suspension of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, stressing that this could have dangerous consequences for children and families in the region who are struggling to survive in the Gaza Strip under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions.

The statement added that the suspension of humanitarian aid has increased the suffering of the people of Gaza, especially since the severe shortage of food, medicine and medical equipment threatens the lives of many children and families.

UNICEF called for urgent and effective measures to allow humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip and stressed the need to urgently provide basic goods to ensure the survival of children and their families in these difficult conditions.

On the other hand, the European Mediterranean Human Rights Watch issued a statement, calling the suspension of humanitarian aid and the provocative official statements of the Israeli authorities a confirmation of the regime’s intention to continue the crime of genocide in Gaza.

The statement, noting that there is no legal exception or justification for depriving Palestinians of essential humanitarian aid, stressed that Tel Aviv is not only using humanitarian aid as a bargaining chip for political or military concessions, but is also implementing a policy of systematic starvation to create unbearable living conditions and make it impossible for Gazans to survive.

The human rights organization added that the repeated and provocative statements by leading Israeli officials demonstrate a clear intention to destroy the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip. Many of these statements about “opening hell” on Gaza and preventing the delivery of humanitarian aid are examples of open encouragement of genocide.

The statement called on the international community to take swift and decisive action to stop the crime of genocide and save Gazans from the plans for gradual killing and forced displacement.

The Israeli regime has banned the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire agreement signed with the resistance groups, while many extremist Zionist figures, including the regime’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, have called for a strong and rapid military attack on Gaza to completely occupy it.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also announced the possibility of another attack on Gaza in the process of entering negotiations for the second phase of the ceasefire.
