He added: The ceasefire is good news, but it is not enough to end hunger in the Gaza Strip or provide drinking water to its residents.

A UNICEF spokesperson said: Infrastructure in the Gaza Strip has been severely damaged and Palestinian families are struggling to survive every day amid the destruction of hospitals and the lack of medical assistance. We have not yet reached an adequate level of humanitarian assistance in Gaza. Thousands of Palestinian children are suffering without receiving medical assistance and medicine.

It should be noted that despite claiming to be implementing a ceasefire in Gaza, the Israeli regime is preventing a sufficient number of trucks carrying humanitarian aid from entering the strip.
