UNICEF spokesperson: The disastrous situation of Palestinian children in Gaza is unimaginable.
According to the Wafa news agency, “Ricardo Berez”, the spokesperson of UNICEF affiliated to the United Nations, stated that it is impossible to describe the catastrophic conditions of the children of the Gaza Strip and their hunger in any way.
He said: This nightmare of the residents of the Gaza Strip must end. Conflicts and attacks in the Gaza Strip must be stopped as soon as possible.
UNICEF spokesperson added: Children are the most vulnerable group to famine and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, UNICEF announced that Gaza has become a graveyard for thousands of children and a living hell for everyone. More than 80% of children in the Gaza Strip suffer from severe malnutrition.
Al Jazeera reported yesterday, quoting a member of the international medical team based in the Gaza Strip: “Every day we see an increase in the number of children who are struggling with malnutrition, hunger and thirst.”
