United Nations charity market in New York; This year for the benefit of the children of the world

PNN – The annual charity bazaar of the United Nations was held at the United Nations headquarters in New York with the efforts of the wives of ambassadors and diplomats of some countries in the world to keep alive the good tradition of helping the needy of the world.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the UN charity bazaar, which is an initiative of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres and his wife, was held this year on Tuesday evening local time with the efforts of the wives of ambassadors and diplomats, so that the proceeds will be used for children in the world.

This bazaar is presented every year in two sections, handicrafts and food of each country, and the countries present the culture and art of their country’s people to the world.

Like every year, the Islamic Republic of Iran had a significant participation with the efforts of Iran’s representation in the United Nations and with the active presence of this representation and the wives of Iranian diplomats, and Iranian handicrafts and types of food were welcomed by the visitors.

This year’s event was accompanied by live music and a contest where each person bought one or more tickets to participate in the contest, the proceeds of which were donated to charity.

Although the proceeds from the sale of this year’s charity bazaar of the United Nations are supposed to be spent on children’s issues in the world, it seems that the children of the world, including Gaza, need the serious will and tact of politicians to end wars and crises more than anything else.
