United Nations: Israel has increased the obstacles to aid to Gaza

United Nations: Israel has increased the obstacles to aid to Gaza.

According to Al-Mayadeen, Stephane Dujarric, the spokesman of the UN Secretary-General, announced that the continued hostile actions of the Zionist regime and repeated orders to evacuate continue to prevent aid from being sent to the Gaza Strip.

He added: The inclusion of parts of the Salah al-Din road – which is a vital passage for humanitarian missions in the Gaza Strip – in the latest evacuation order issued by the Zionist regime for parts of Deir al-Balah province, has made it almost impossible for aid workers to move along this main route.

Dujarric emphasized that the coastal road is not a suitable alternative and this road is not considered a suitable route now, despite the temporary shelters of the Palestinians. As a result, the movement of caravans along the coastal road is very slow and the delivery of basic goods and services, including water supply, is seriously hampered.

In this regard, Mounir al-Barsh, Director General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, announced that the Zionist regime’s occupiers have disrupted the entry of a UN convoy carrying medicine and fuel into the Gaza Strip.

Albarsh pointed out that the fuel in this area is only enough for 24 hours and stated that the lack of fuel and medicine will prevent the rescue of the injured due to the crimes of the invaders.

He added that the ambulances are now without fuel, which hinders the rescue of the injured, and explained that the occupiers are deliberately seeking to kill as many refugees as possible in the asylum centers.

Albaresh warned that any delay in intervention would endanger the lives of the injured and added: We rely on God and our medical staff to stand and continue working.

At the same time as the economic blockade, the occupation of the Zionist regime continues its attacks on the Gaza Strip, and in its latest statistical report, the Ministry of Health of Gaza announced the increase in the number of martyrs of the attacks to 40,223 martyrs and 92,857 injured since October 7, 2023.
