Unprecedented suppression of anti-Israel demonstrations at the University of Texas/arrest of 20 students.

Student protests in the United States in support of the people of Gaza and the end of the Israeli war have reached the University of Texas after Harvard, Brown, and Southern California universities and the campus of the University of Texas has become the scene of clashes between police and students.

Following the gathering of Texas University students in opposition to the Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza, at least 20 students have been arrested by the police.

Cairo News reported on 24 Thursday morning that the students called the Israeli army a terrorist organization in their slogans.

On the other hand, “Greg Abbott”, the commander of Texas, in response to the gathering of supporters of Palestine in this university, announced that all anti-Israeli students should be arrested.

He interpreted the anti-war protests in Gaza as “anti-Semitism”.

In support of the Zionist regime, he said: “Students who participate in protests full of hate and anti-Semitism should be expelled from any university in the state.”

Earlier, American media sources reported that a massive demonstration was held in front of Columbia University in solidarity with the detained students who demanded an end to the war and genocide against Gaza.

Agence France-Presse quoted the American police as saying that 133 students protesting the war against Gaza were arrested inside Columbia University, and classrooms also announced the fear of the spread of virtual anti-Israel gatherings.
