PNN – Philip Lazzarini, the commissioner of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian refugees, warned about the critical situation in Gaza and said that the reality is that Gaza is suffocating and it seems that the world has lost its humanity now.
According to Pakistan News Network, quoted by Palestine’s Sama news agency, Lazzarini added: “Just as I am talking to you, Gaza is suffering from a lack of water and electricity.”
He continued: My colleagues in Gaza are no longer able to provide humanitarian aid.
Lazzarini warned that food and medicine will soon run out in Gaza, and for the past eight days, they have not allowed a drop of water, a grain of wheat, and a liter of fuel to enter the Gaza Strip.

He said that we should remember that Gaza has been under siege for more than 16 years and more than 60% of its residents actually rely on international food aid.
Lazzarini announced the death of 14 employees of this organization following the recent war in Gaza and said that the agency had 13,000 employees, most of whom are now displaced or living outside their homes.
He said that at least 400,000 Palestinian refugees are present in schools and buildings affiliated with UNRWA, and most of these places do not have emergency shelters.
In the end, Lazzarini warned that the blockade and bombing of infrastructure in a densely populated area like Gaza will never bring peace and security to the region.
