UNRWA: The disastrous situation of the people of Gaza worsens with the attack on Rafah

PNN – UNRWA announced that although the people of Gaza are living in a very catastrophic situation, their situation will get worse in the future.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by Al Jazeera, the General Commissioner of the Relief and Employment Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) announced that the order of the International Court of Justice to Israel includes the provision of basic aid needed by the people of Gaza.

UNRWA stated that an Israeli attack on Rafah, where about 1.4 million Palestinian refugees are concentrated, appears to be imminent. There is no safe place for the people of Gaza to take refuge, and despite the dire conditions they are living in, it looks like their situation will only get worse in the future.

This UNRWA official stated that this organization does not have the power to accept financial shocks, especially as a result of the expansion of the war in Gaza.

The statement adds that Netanyahu has made it clear that he will not allow UNRWA to operate in Gaza after the war and is currently destroying our infrastructure in Gaza.

According to this statement, Israel’s attack against UNRWA is aimed at changing the current criteria, which has been demanding peace and stability in the occupied territories for a long time.

In a statement last night, this UN-affiliated center accused the Israeli regime of torturing the detained employees of this agency in the Gaza Strip. In this statement, it is stated that UNRWA agency employees talk about terrible events during their arrest and interrogation by the Zionist soldiers.

The UNRWA agency stated that these reports indicate that the Zionist soldiers tortured the detained people and treated them very badly and even subjected them to sexual harassment. According to this statement, a number of UNRWA employees have informed the officials of this agency that confessions were taken from them under the torture of the Zionist military to say that they were in contact with the Hamas movement.

UNRWA announced that it has protested against the action of the Zionist regime in detaining its employees, but has not received any response.
