PNN – An American official in the country’s State Department acknowledged Washington’s sabotage in relations between Russia and an Arab country.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Russia Today, Robert Balladino, director of the Bureau of Middle East Affairs at the US State Department, admitted that the US government is seeking to influence Algerian officials with the aim of preventing the country from cooperating with Russia.
These remarks were made during a meeting of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee yesterday.
He said: Whenever our partners cooperate with our strategic enemies, we will seek to stop this process, whether it is Russia or China.
