PNN – Several informed sources reported the efforts and determination of Washington and Tel Aviv to implement Donald Trump’s controversial proposal to forcibly relocate Palestinians living in Gaza to three African countries, despite international condemnation.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from the Associated Press, several American and Israeli officials, who asked not to be named, told the news agency that Washington and Tel Aviv have contacted officials from three East African governments about transferring Palestinians living in the Gaza Strip to these countries in line with Trump’s proposed plan.
It is said that the contact with the leaders of Sudan, Somalia, and the breakaway region of Somalia known as Somaliland to send Palestinians to these areas indicates the determination of the United States and Israel to implement Trump’s plan, which had previously been condemned by many countries around the world.

The Associated Press also cited the poverty prevailing in all three African countries mentioned as hosts for the Palestinians, saying: This has cast doubt on Trump’s statements that he said the people of Gaza would be moved to a beautiful place.
It is said that Sudanese officials have rejected the US proposal in this regard, and Somali and Somaliland officials have no knowledge of this contact.
Under Trump’s plan, more than 2 million Gaza residents would be permanently relocated to another land. After presenting the controversial plan, the US president claimed that the US would take ownership of the coastal area and, after clearing and rebuilding it, would develop it as a real estate project.
Arab countries have strongly opposed the plan since it was presented last month, proposing an alternative that would see Palestinians remain in their land. Rights groups have said the forced displacement of Gazans from the Strip could amount to a war crime.
