PNN – The U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, following the recent shooting incident involving two National Guard members, has proposed a “total travel ban” on countries that, according to her, “fill the United States with killers and exploiters.”
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting NBC, Kristi Noem announced on Monday that she is proposing a “total travel ban” on countries that, she claims, “fill the United States with killers, leeches, and benefit-dependent individuals.”
The U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security wrote on the social media platform X that she recently met with U.S. President Donald Trump, and Trump later reposted her statement regarding the new travel restrictions.

Noem added: our forefathers built this nation with blood, sweat, and a lasting love for freedom, not so that foreign intruders could massacre our heroes, drain our hard-earned tax dollars, or seize benefits that belong to Americans. We do not want them. Not even a single one.
According to the report, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security did not respond to NBC’s request for clarification regarding the countries Noem referred to.
Trump reposted the Homeland Security Secretary’s post on the social media platform Truth Social but offered no explanation or comment.
After last week’s shooting of two National Guard members on patrol in Washington — an incident that led to the death of one of them — the U.S. president has intensified his administration’s crackdown on immigration.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security identified the suspect as an Afghan national who legally entered the United States in September 2021 after the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan.
The shooting incident, involving an Afghan-American national and former CIA collaborator targeting two National Guard members in Washington, D.C., has sparked a new wave of controversy over the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan and the immigration policies of former U.S. presidents Donald Trump and Joe Biden — a dispute that has led to a broad review of immigration files across the United States.
The U.S. State Department recently announced in a statement that the issuance of visas for all individuals holding Afghan passports has been halted immediately.
