US-Israeli chaos project in Lebanon.

US-Israeli chaos project in Lebanon, a conspiracy against the resistance’s weapons.

While in recent weeks, the US has expanded its conspiratorial moves in Lebanon to unconditionally surrender the country to the Zionist demands, and the Lebanese government, in surrender to Washington’s dictates, is intensifying pressure to disarm the resistance, Lebanese circles have been examining the dimensions of this conspiracy.

In this regard, Ibrahim Amin, a prominent Lebanese writer and editor-in-chief of the Al-Akhbar newspaper, wrote in his new editorial for the newspaper that we should not rely on what Lebanese politicians say about the country’s issues with regional dimensions, and the reality is that the authorities’ claims about the internal nature of the resistance issue are meaningless and it is quite clear that the US is behind the conspiracy to disarm the resistance.

The mission of the new US envoy in Lebanon and the region

The truth is that everything that is said about disarming the resistance in Lebanon reflects an American approach, and the new point is that the Americans this time want to engage in a new battle in Lebanon, the aim of which is to delegitimize Hezbollah’s weapons.

It is clear that the Americans know that the disarmament project in Lebanon is beyond the capabilities of the Lebanese authorities and that the United States considers itself obliged to directly intervene in this issue. Meanwhile, Tom Barak, the new US envoy to the region, who has extended his temporary mission until early autumn, has presented a vision for the future of Lebanon.

Tom Barak also repeats the words of previous Washington envoys in Lebanon and claims that he seeks to revive Lebanon and strengthen its power. Like other Americans, he is actually a Zionist and works in line with the goals of the occupying regime and had previously said that the administration of US President Donald Trump wants to disarm Hezbollah.

This new US envoy said that he also has a mission related to internal reforms in Lebanon and will present views on the mechanism in the financial, monetary and administrative fields. He also threatened Lebanon and spoke of prepared sanctions against the country.

The fact that Tom Barak has focused his positions more on the reform file inside Lebanon does not mean that he is not fundamentally interested in the issue of the conflict between Lebanon and the Zionist regime; rather, he wants to carry out several missions at the same time. On the other hand, this new US envoy in the Middle East is responsible for stabilizing the government of Abu Muhammad al-Julani in Syria and clearly expressed his country’s concern about the instability of the al-Julani government and emphasized that the lifting of further sanctions against Syria is aimed at preventing the collapse of the new government of the country, especially in light of its severe economic crisis.

It was then revealed that Barak also traveled to Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries in the region and spoke with their officials about solutions to prevent the fall of the al-Julani government in Syria. Tom Barak also mentioned the price that al-Julani must pay in exchange for the lifting of US sanctions against Syria, namely signing a normalization agreement with Israel.

A source familiar with the atmosphere of Tom Barak’s contacts said that

Washington has spoken with Ahmed al-Sharaa (Abu Muhammad al-Julani) and other members of the new Syrian government about normalization with Israel.

The illusions that the US and Israel instill in the Lebanese government

Meanwhile, Lebanese officials, who have succumbed to repeated US demands to disarm the resistance, view the situation from the perspective that Washington is the decision-maker in Lebanon and Israel has the upper hand. As a result, Lebanon must make whatever concessions they want in order to avoid the wrath of Washington and Tel Aviv.

However, the problem with this group of Lebanese is not that they are used to submitting to US and Israeli demands, but rather that they do not want to see the facts independently of the American interpretation and perspective.
