US Navy: 2024 Grand Prize Should Go to Yemenis.
According to Al-Masirah, the US Naval Institute reported that more than half of 2024 was a year of intense activity, drones, and missiles for the Eisenhower aircraft carrier.
The center added that the Yemeni armed forces could be awarded the 2024 Grand Prize for the many problems they caused the US Navy.
The institute added that in February 2024, Yemeni forces targeted the British ship Rubimar in a way that caused it to sink.
According to the report, the US witnessed almost daily attacks by the Yemenis for most of the winter and spring of 2024, some of which targeted US Navy destroyers.
The report added that the Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier left the Red Sea in June 2024, leaving the US destroyers to “support the region.”
The US Naval Institute adds that the aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman arrived in the Red Sea last December, and six days later, an F-18 fighter jet attached to the ship was destroyed.
