US official: We have differences with Israel on how to deal with Iran.
According to Al Jazeera, the Wall Street Journal newspaper, citing an American official, claimed that Washington is preparing to present a list of terms to Iran, including a halt to uranium enrichment, and if Iran does not accept these terms, it will not be in a good situation for it.
The Wall Street Journal continued its report, citing American officials, adding: Washington hopes that the framework of the agreement with Tehran will address Israel’s concerns and convince Tel Aviv to postpone an imminent attack on Iran.
According to the newspaper, an American official also said: We currently have differences with Israel on how to deal with Iran, but if Iran does not want to agree, our approach could change.
The Wall Street Journal also claimed, citing an informed source, that Israel had planned an attack on Iran this year but postponed it after the Trump administration requested it.
According to the newspaper, Western and Israeli officials believe that military action could set back Iran’s nuclear program by at least a year, but there are significant doubts about the impact of any attack on Iran’s nuclear program.
