US plan to build a major base near Damascus with Julani’s permission.
Informed Syrian sources revealed to Al-Ma’ulouma that the US is seeking to establish an important base near Damascus and that this move will be carried out with the green light of Abu Muhammad al-Julani, the leader of the terrorist organization Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, and will be announced soon.
They stated that since yesterday, US cargo planes carrying military equipment and hundreds of troops have been flying to the Kharab al-Jir base on the outskirts of Al-Hasakah.
Syrian sources stated that the US is rapidly strengthening its bases in Syria and establishing a large number of airlines to transport hundreds of troops from the Ain al-Assad base in Iraq and other bases in the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf to this country.
