US reaction to news of military base construction near Gaza Strip

PNN – The White House spokesperson responded to reports about the U.S. building a military base near the Gaza Strip.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Sputnik, the spokesperson stated that the U.S. government has not yet approved the construction of a military base with a capacity of 10,000 near the Gaza Strip.

Informed sources reported that the U.S. Navy is trying to secure the necessary budget to build a military base near the Gaza Strip with a capacity of 10,000.

The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, quoting an Israeli source, reported that the U.S. seeks to construct a military base around the Gaza Strip.

The spokesperson added that this action is part of new security measures being implemented.

It is worth noting that dozens of U.S. military personnel are already stationed in the Kiryat Gat area in central occupied territories under the pretext of monitoring the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
