US sanctions against three individuals and five Zionist entities’
According to Al Jazeera, the US Department of State announced sanctions against three individuals and five Zionist institutions related to violent acts against civilians in the West Bank.
Matthew Miller, the spokesperson of the US State Department, while announcing this news, claimed: The US has always been opposed to actions that undermine stability in the West Bank and the prospect of peace and security for Israelis and Palestinians.
He clarified: One of the targets of these sanctions is an organization called Lehava, led by Ben-Zion Gupstein, which is recognized by the United States as an extremist and whose members have repeatedly committed violence against Palestinians.
