PNN – While Delcy Rodriguez has been selected as the interim president of Venezuela and has rejected any colonization of her country, the US Secretary of War claimed that Trump sets the conditions for Governing Venezuela.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Al Jazeera network, “Pete Hegst,” the US Secretary of War, stated in an interview with CBS network: It is President Trump who sets the conditions for Governing Venezuela’s affairs.

He added: We will control what happens in the subsequent stages in Venezuela.

The US Secretary of War, without naming any specific country, declared that foreign countries will have no foothold in the hemisphere where the US is located.

In an attempt to gain Trump’s favor, he praised him and claimed: President Trump will be able to dictate what actions we will take in the future.

This comes as Delcy Rodriguez, to whom Maduro’s powers have been temporarily transferred, rejected these statements by the American official and said last night: Venezuela will not become a colony of any country.

She emphasized: We are ready to defend Venezuela with all our strength and are prepared for any challenge, and we tell our people that a legitimate government exists.

Rodriguez added: We will not allow any military aggression against our country and are opposed to the violence that was carried out against Venezuela today.

She also said: We will defend the country and the future of our children, and with all our strength we support our people and will preserve our independence against all colonialist powers.

Rodriguez stressed: The great nation of Venezuela has resisted all aggressions, and we will continue on this path.
