PNN – US Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen called for an end to the siege of the Gaza Strip and an end to the Israeli regime’s war against the strip.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Maryland senator wrote on the social network X on Wednesday morning: It has been more than 50 days since the complete blockade of Gaza civilians on food and humanitarian aid began.
He added: End the siege and the suffering. Free the prisoners. End the war. Let there be no more October 7th. Security, dignity, human rights and independence for all.

The Gaza Strip is also facing a dire humanitarian situation due to severe shortages of food, drinking water, medical equipment, and medicine.
The UN World Food Programme stressed on Sunday that 2 million people in the Gaza Strip, most of whom are displaced, are largely dependent on food aid.
The organization added: Given the shortage of food supplies and the continued closure of crossings, the Gaza Strip is in urgent need of food.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the number of martyrs in Gaza since October 7, 2023, when Operation Al-Aqsa Storm began, has reached 51,266, and the number of injured has reached 116,991.
