US warns citizens: Avoid places linked to Israel in the UAE.
The US State Department has issued an urgent warning to its citizens to avoid visiting Israel-related sites in the United Arab Emirates due to what it called “potential terrorist threats.”
The warning comes as regional tensions have increased, particularly following Israel’s aggression in Gaza.
The warning follows a similar move by Israel, which had previously advised residents of the occupied territories to avoid non-essential travel to the UAE and to avoid displaying signs of Israeli or Jewish identity if they are in the country.
The UAE has seen an increase in Israeli travel to the country since it signed a peace deal with Israel in 2020 that established diplomatic relations with Israel.
