PNN – The Vice President of Venezuela announced that the country has protested the US action to close its airspace in international forums.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Sputnik, Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez said, referring to the US’s efforts to restrict the country’s airspace: The US government is implementing opposition leader Maria Machado’s demand to close Venezuelan skies.

He added: In response to this aggressive action, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has ordered a special program to be implemented to repatriate Venezuelans stranded in other countries, as well as to create alternative routes for those who need to leave the country.
The Venezuelan official emphasized that Caracas has activated all multilateral and international legal mechanisms to immediately stop this illegal and illegitimate action.
US President Donald Trump announced that all airspace over and around Venezuela will be closed until further notice.
On the social network Truth Social, he justified this hostile action by claiming that drug traffickers and human traffickers should consider Venezuelan airspace completely closed.
