PNN – A Venezuelan parliamentarian emphasized the country’s high level of preparedness to confront foreign aggressions and threats.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Juan Romero, a member of Venezuela’s National Assembly and parliamentarian, stated in an interview with Al-Mayadeen: US intervention in Venezuela constitutes a clear act of aggression. The nation is prepared to defend Venezuela’s sovereignty against any foreign threat.

He added: Venezuela is at the highest level of readiness to reiterate its historical positions against foreign aggressions, especially following the US attack.
Romero asserted: Free nations have always succeeded in breaking the hegemony of major empires. The people of Venezuela will remain united in the face of any potential challenges. The kidnapping of Nicolás Maduro is reminiscent of the kidnapping of the former President of Haiti and the use of interventionist leverage by superpowers.
He stated: Such actions are tantamount to illegal aggressions against a sovereign independent state. Maduro had previously announced that in the event of an attack on Venezuela, he would employ a policy of protracted people’s war with the participation of all segments of the nation. The country is prepared to use all possible means to defend its independence.
