Wall Street Journal: The Biden administration is looking to send more weapons to Israel

PNN – The Wall Street Journal reported that the Biden administration is preparing to send more weapons to Israel.

According to Pakistan News Network, the Wall Street Journal reported that while Joe Biden is trying to establish a ceasefire in Gaza, his administration is preparing to send more weapons to Israel.

Referring to some current and former officials of the American government, this publication wrote in its report: The Biden administration is preparing to send bombs and other weapons to Israel to add to the regime’s arsenal, while Biden seeks a cease-fire in Gaza.

According to the report, these weapons include MK-82 bombs and KMU-572 joint direct attack munitions, which add precision guidance to these bombs, and FMU-139 bomb fuses, which are worth tens of millions of dollars.

Referring to an American government official, this publication wrote: The process of sending this shipment is still under investigation by the administration, and the exact details of it may change before this matter is communicated to the leaders of the congressional committees, who must approve the process of this shipment.

The US Department of State and Defense, and the Israeli Ministry of War and Military Forces have not responded to this issue so far.

Meanwhile, on February 20, the US Senate presented a package of border security and foreign aid worth 118.3 billion dollars, in which 60 billion dollars were given to Ukraine, 1.14 billion dollars to Israel. $83.4 billion in aid to Indo-Pacific allies including Taiwan to counter Chinese aggression and a bipartisan border security agreement.

The bill also allocates $15.9 billion in humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza and the West Bank, Ukraine, and other war-torn areas around the world.

In this aid package, there is no budget for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA). Because the Zionist regime has falsely accused 12 employees of this organization of being involved in the October 7 attack by Hamas against this regime.

Earlier, the US House of Representatives rejected the $17.5 billion aid plan to Israel, without aid to Ukraine, presented by Congress President Mike Johnson.

Previously, Joe Biden said that he would veto any plan to help Israel without considering aid to Ukraine.

The Congressional Appropriations Committee announced that this financial aid for Israel includes funding to help resupply Israel’s missile defense systems, purchase more advanced weapons systems, and produce artillery ammunition and other ammunition needed to continue the fight against Hamas in the Middle East.

At the same time, since the beginning of the war in Gaza, the Biden government has been widely criticized by the international community for supplying weapons to the Zionist regime, and accusations have also been made against the American government for igniting the fire of this war. These accusations have intensified with the use of American-made weapons in attacking civilians and increasing the number of dead and wounded in the war.

Since the start of the conflict between Hamas and Israel, more than 28,000 Palestinian civilians have been killed and the number of casualties and injuries is increasing.

The Zionist army also admitted that 572 soldiers of this regime have been killed in the Gaza war since October 7.
