Yemeni provincial officials told Sputnik news agency that America and Britain carried out 23 airstrikes last night in four Yemeni provinces, including Sana’a, Hodeidah, Saada and Taiz.

Earlier, US President Joe Biden announced that the United States and England, with the support of Australia, Bahrain, Canada and the Netherlands, carried out attacks against some targets in Yemen.

US and British officials confirmed these airstrikes and claimed that they targeted the positions and military installations of the “Houthis” (Ansarullah) in response to the attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea and did not attack civilian population centers.

In response, the Yemeni army announced that it will carry out attacks on American and British military bases and positions and warned that Washington and London will pay a “high price” for this massive attack.
