Wall Street Journal: Trump signs Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire plan.

According to the Times of Israel, the Wall Street Journal announced that US President-elect Donald Trump signed a proposed ceasefire plan between Lebanon’s Hezbollah and the Israeli regime during a meeting on Sunday with Ron Dermer, the Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump’s green light for the proposed plan came after Ron Dermer reported on the situation in Lebanon, and Trump expressed hope that the ceasefire plan would be implemented before his inauguration and official entry into the White House on January 20, 2025 (February 1).

The Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs also met with Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and former senior adviser, who is not expected to play a role in the next administration, as well as officials from the Joe Biden administration.

The Wall Street Journal report comes after it was previously announced that the US ambassador to Lebanon had submitted a draft proposal for a ceasefire agreement to Nabih Berri, the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, on Thursday.

Yesterday, Thursday, the American newspaper Washington Post revealed, citing Israeli officials: that Israel is preparing a ceasefire plan in Lebanon as a gift for President Trump.

The newspaper also wrote, citing another Israeli official: Israel will give Trump a gift next January (January) and at the time of the inauguration of the US presidency, which will include an agreement on Lebanon.

The Washington Post announced, citing Israeli officials: The negotiations were held at Trump’s residence and the focus of these negotiations was Israel’s proposal for a ceasefire in Lebanon.

The American newspaper revealed, citing Israeli officials: that Israel’s proposal for a ceasefire in Lebanon will include cooperation from Western countries and Russia.

The Washington Post also wrote, citing an Israeli military official: If the negotiations for a ceasefire in Lebanon fail, plans are underway to intensify Israel’s ground operations in Lebanon.
