Wall Street Journal’s report on the cause of pager explosions in Lebanon.
The Wall Street Journal, an American media outlet, claimed on Tuesday that the exploded pagers were related to a new shipment that Lebanon’s Hezbollah had received in recent days.
According to the claim of this American media, a representative of Hezbollah told this newspaper that hundreds of members of this military group used such devices.
The Wall Street Journal claimed that the cause of the explosions could be software that causes devices to heat up and explode.
The newspaper added that some members of Hezbollah felt the pagers were hot and moved them away before they exploded.
It is said that in this incident the communication devices of Lebanese Hezbollah forces (pagers) exploded.
At the same time, the Lebanese Ministry of Health asked hospitals to be fully prepared for emergencies.
