Yesterday, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper acknowledged in a report that the change that Israel had been waiting for for a long time after Operation “Gideon’s Chariots” had not materialized and that Hamas had not collapsed.
Yedioth Ahronoth added: Hamas remains steadfast and stubborn, and without a final political solution, this war will not end, no matter how long it lasts or how intense it becomes.
Critical reports in the Israeli media have increased, especially after the successful operation by resistance forces in Beit Hanoun on Tuesday, which resulted in the death of 5 soldiers and the injury of 18 others.
The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades announced (Wednesday) the successful conduct of several operations against Israeli military equipment and positions in various areas of the Gaza Strip. In these operations, several Merkava, Bulldozer, and Beek Mechanized tanks of the occupying army were targeted. In one operation, in the “Al-Salam” area east of Jabalia, a building where Israeli soldiers were holed up was targeted with an RPG, killing and wounding a number of people.
According to Hebrew media, Hamas forces are fighting with the same level of readiness as in the early days of the Gaza war.
