These officials also called for the reduction of the devastating and worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the reopening of all border crossings in the region for aid, including the Rafah crossing.
Meanwhile, the European Union on Wednesday asked Tel Aviv to end its military operations in Rafah very quickly and warned that not doing so would weaken Tel Aviv’s relations with the European Union.
