Warning of Biden’s headquarters: withdrawing from the election competition will lead to chaos

PNN – American media reported, while the concern in the top ranks of the Democratic Party about the impact of Joe Biden’s critical performance in the first debate with Donald Trump is increasing, the officials of the current US President’s campaign did not take this concern seriously and warned that his withdrawal from the competition will lead to weeks of chaos.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Associated Press news agency wrote today that Jimmy Harrison, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, and Joely Chavez-Rodriguez, the chairman of the Biden campaign, spoke by phone with dozens of members of the committee across the United States yesterday afternoon local time, largely due to Biden’s poor showing in the recent debate and the flood of criticism that followed.

Citing several members of this committee who asked to remain anonymous, this American media wrote that they were asked to ignore the dire situation of the party. They said the call may have fueled a widespread sense of panic among party officials, sponsors and other stakeholders.

Many donors, strategists and top Democratic Party members have said publicly and privately that they want the 81-year-old Biden out of the race to give the party a chance to choose a younger replacement at the Democratic National Convention in midsummer. However, Biden’s closest allies insist that he is still in a good position to compete against Republican Donald Trump and have not tried to force him to end his campaign.

Vice President Kamala Harris, California Governor Gavin Newsom and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, who are best placed to replace Biden, also supported him after the debate, joining former US presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.

Many Democrats are anxiously awaiting the release of post-debate poll results to determine their next steps.

Meanwhile, in New York’s famous and wealthy Hamptons area, Biden met with a number of wealthy Democratic donors.

Biden’s deputy campaign chairman, Rob Flaherty, argued in an email that his resignation is “the best possible way for Donald Trump to win and us to lose.”

The results of the Morning Consult Institute survey show that 60% of participants believe that Biden will “definitely” or “probably” be replaced by another Democratic candidate after the debate with Trump.

Meanwhile, only 21 percent said Biden “shouldn’t be removed at all.”

According to Morning Consult findings, 57 percent of poll participants said Trump did better than Biden in the poll, including 19 percent of Democrats, 60 percent of independents and 93 percent of Republicans.
