Washington allows Tel Aviv to violate the Gaza ceasefire.
Ibrahim Al-Madhoun said: The Israeli occupiers were forced to accept the ceasefire agreement and see it as a temporary restriction and do not adhere to it permanently. From the first moment of the ceasefire, the Zionists sought to establish new rules of engagement and oppose this agreement.
He added: They set out to dominate the Yellow Zone and its complete and planned destruction, and continued to demolish homes and carry out activities against the Palestinians.
Al-Madhoun stated: The occupiers are deliberately taking these actions because they are aware of the regional passivity and the guarantors of the ceasefire. In addition, the US coordination gives Israel wide latitude to not adhere to the agreement.
The Palestinian activist emphasized that immediate action by the mediators to support the ceasefire agreement must be taken. The occupiers know that the Palestinians, especially the Hamas movement, are seeking to avoid a return to conflict and prevent the genocide of the Palestinians. Therefore, Hamas is exploiting this approach and continuing its attacks, while Hamas is pursuing diplomatic moves to contain Israel and prevent the collapse of the ceasefire agreement.
He emphasized: The United States is not currently putting pressure on the occupiers and is giving them complete freedom of action, which encourages the occupiers to continue violating the ceasefire.
Al-Madhoun said: The occupiers are still concerned about the stability of the Palestinian people, and they know very well that their goals have not been achieved, so they are seeking to collapse the ceasefire agreement with all their might.
The Palestinian analyst continued: The continued violation of the ceasefire by the occupiers requires a strong stance from the guarantors and mediators to force the occupiers to stop the attacks and fully adhere to the agreement.
He also emphasized the need to resume popular movements in America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America to support the Palestinian people in facing this harsh reality, adding: “The Palestinian people need sincere global support to prevent the occupiers’ movements.”
