PNN – The spokesman for the national security of the White House announced on Monday evening that constructive negotiations regarding the release of prisoners in Gaza are underway.
According to Pakistan News Network, White House National Security Spokesman John Kirby emphasized on Monday evening that yesterday’s attacks on northeastern Jordan should not affect the process of negotiations regarding the military in Gaza.
Continuing his speech, he said: “There are very constructive discussions about the negotiations for the release of the hostages in Gaza.”
The Washington Post newspaper reported that after the escalation of tensions in the region, the US President Joe Biden’s administration has proposed a plan that US officials hope can lead to a complete ceasefire in Gaza.
This American newspaper quoted two American officials as saying: “Concerns about the escalation of tensions have increased in recent weeks and have renewed diplomatic efforts to bring Israel and Hamas back to the negotiating table.”

According to this report, the plan that Israel and Hamas are considering calls for a long-term pause in the war and the release of prisoners in several stages. American officials hope that this plan can become a permanent ceasefire.
American officials say that after the increase in Yemeni attacks in the Red Sea, Washington has increased the pressure on Hamas and Israel to reach an agreement on this plan.
In another part of this report, the Washington Post wrote that the recent attacks on American forces in Jordan, which led to the death of three soldiers, added to the fire of tensions in the region.
Tensions in the region have risen after Israel’s attacks in Gaza. Israel’s ground operations have resulted in the martyrdom of more than 26,000 Palestinians.
On October 7th, the Islamic resistance movement of Palestine, Hamas, in response to more than seven decades of occupation of Palestine and nearly two decades of siege of Gaza and imprisonment and torture of thousands of Palestinians, started the operation known as “Al-Aqsa Storm”.
This operation was one of the deadliest attacks against this regime. Hamas fighters penetrated into the occupied territories at several points of the border fences, attacked the villages and besides killing a large number of Israelis, captured a number of them.
