PNN – The Washington Post revealed that the technology company “Google” has provided artificial intelligence tools to the Israeli army since the first days of the war in Gaza.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, according to the documents obtained by this American newspaper, the company “Google” in a close competition with “Amazon” has quickly responded and fulfilled the requests of the Israeli army for more access to the artificial intelligence tools of this technology giant.
According to these documents, Google employees have been involved in the Israeli army’s access to the latest artificial intelligence technology belonging to this company since the first weeks of the Israeli war in Gaza. In this way, despite Google’s apparent efforts to distance itself from the politics of the US security apparatus after its employees protested the contracts with Israel, this technology company has directly helped the Ministry of War of the Zionist regime and its forces.

The Washington Post noted that Google fired more than 50 employees last year due to protests over its Nimbus cloud computing contract. The protesting employees were concerned that Google’s technology was involved in military and intelligence programs that harmed the Palestinians.
According to the documents obtained by the Washington Post, one of the Google employees warned in one of these documents that if the company does not quickly provide more access to the Israeli Ministry of War, its army will turn to Amazon.
In another document dated mid-November 2023 (nearly a month after the start of the war in Gaza), the same employee thanks his colleagues for helping to speed up the process of responding to the request of the Israeli Ministry of War. These documents do not specify how the Israeli Ministry of War intends to use artificial intelligence in its military operations in Gaza.
This newspaper adds: In another document dated November 2024, when many parts of Gaza were reduced to ruins as a result of Israeli airstrikes, the Israeli army is still using Google for the latest artificial intelligence technology.
The Israeli army has been using artificial intelligence capabilities for years to speed up the processing of surveillance images and military targets. According to the Washington Post’s previous research, after the start of the Israeli attacks on Gaza following the October 7 attacks, the Israeli army turned to the artificial intelligence tool called “Habsora” and used it for humanitarian purposes and civilian infrastructure in Gaza.
