Washington Post: No more talk of attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities

Washington Post: No more talk of attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The Washington Post, in a report referring to the upcoming meeting between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, quoted an Israeli official who did not want to be named as saying that the issue of attacking Iran’s nuclear facilities is no longer on the agenda between Washington and Tel Aviv.

The Washington Post, which introduced this person as a “female” Israeli official, quoted him as saying: Netanyahu is trying to get something different from the second phase of the peace agreement in Gaza or to get a guarantee from Trump that Hamas cannot be part of the new Gaza administration!

The newspaper also pointed out that Netanyahu and Trump’s approach to Iran is not clear, and quoted the official as saying: There is no longer any talk of attacking Iran. The new administration (the US) is focused on a different goal in the region; a goal that requires an end to the war.

The Zionist newspaper Ma’ariv, citing sources, announced that Netanyahu intends to remove Ronen Bar, the head of the Shin Bet intelligence service, from the Israeli negotiating team to obstruct the ceasefire negotiations in Gaza, because he does not trust him and some other members of the team.

The Israeli government’s Channel 13 television also reported that Netanyahu will try to buy more time during his meeting with Trump today to ensure the continuity of the Israeli cabinet coalition.
