PNN – Despite the Western sanctions against Russia, Moscow has managed to gain 30.9 billion dollars in its trade deals with its friendly and allied countries.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Novosti news agency and based on the report of the Russian customs, despite the Western sanctions, this country has managed to make a profit of five trillion rubles ($30.9 billion) in its trade deals with its friendly and allied countries.
Meanwhile, importers of Russian goods from other countries have lost trade worth 21 trillion rubles ($256.6 billion) during the two-year embargo. But the Russian Federation has been able to gain more profit in the trade with its friendly and allied countries.
Trade statistics indicate that Russia has taken a different approach in exporting its goods to countries whose relations have turned into darkness in the last two years, and in some cases the volume of exports has increased and in some cases decreased.
According to these data, in 2022 AD, the import of goods from Russia in Western countries has decreased by 64.1 billion dollars and in 2023, it has decreased by 192.4 billion dollars. Therefore, in the last two years, Western countries have lost about 256.5 billion dollars in the Russian market due to the restrictions and sanctions imposed. In the meantime, Moscow has been able to compensate for these lost trade relations and gained at least 287.5 billion dollars in transactions with its friendly and allied countries during the two years of the embargo.
Since the beginning of the Ukraine war, Western countries have imposed thousands of sanctions against Russia, making this country the destination of the heaviest sanctions in the world. The main goal of the international sanctions, which cover everything from individuals to industries important to the country’s economy, has been to isolate Moscow and its Russian clients.
