PNN – A member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iraq announced that, at this moment, Qasim al-Araji and Hamid al-Shatri have the best chance of assuming the post of Prime Minister of Iraq.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Rudaw, Shawan Muhammad Taha, a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and former representative of the Iraqi parliament, emphasized: The Shiite Coordination Framework coalition has begun negotiations on the formation of the future government by sending two delegations, one inside Iraq and the other outside.
This official from the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iraq believes that Muhammad Shia al-Sudani has no chance of becoming prime minister again, and the Coordination Framework will not support him because it does not trust him.

He added: Former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi also has no chance of becoming prime minister again, and the status of Haider Al-Abadi, head of the Al-Nasr coalition, is still unclear due to the veto of the Government of Law coalition.
According to Shawan Mohammad Taha, Qassem Al-Araji and Hamid Al-Shattri are the most likely candidates at this point because Iran, the United States, and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries are not opposed to their becoming prime ministers, and at the same time, they do not have a strong parliamentary faction.
Regarding the party’s conditions for participating in the future government, this Kurdistan Democratic Party official said: Our conditions are not related to departments and ministries, but to the government’s program.
He also emphasized that the Iraqi presidency should remain in the hands of the Kurds.
