PNN – The advisor to the UAE president explained the country’s position on developments in the African country of Sudan.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Russia Today, Anwar Gargash, diplomatic advisor to the UAE president, said that establishing a ceasefire, providing humanitarian aid, and forming a civilian government constitute the foundations of the UAE’s position on Sudan.
Gargash wrote on the X messenger: What is the problem with the approach that seeks an immediate ceasefire in a war that is suffering civilians and has torn Sudan apart?

United Nations: Conflicts in Sudan have killed thousands of people.
He added: The position of the UAE and most countries in the world is to establish a ceasefire, prioritize humanitarian aid, and take a path that leads to the formation of an independent civilian government. We should ask the two sides in the civil war, the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Force, what is the problem with such an approach?
Previously, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs had called for an end to thev and accused the Sudanese government of spreading misleading and false information.
It is worth noting that while some foreign parties are accused of interfering in the civil war in Sudan, especially the UAE, which is accused of supporting the Rapid Support Forces, Sudan, also accused the country of hiring Colombian mercenaries to fight alongside the Rapid Support Forces and providing them with financial support.
The Sudanese Foreign Ministry issued a statement last Monday, saying: The government has all the documents and evidence that prove that mercenaries from Colombia and some neighboring countries are intervening in this war with the support and financial backing of the UAE.
