PNN – Palestinian sources revealed what is happening to the captured Palestinian leader, Al-Barghouthi, in the Zionist slaughterhouse in Jalboa.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Quds Al-Arabi, the Prisoners’ Media Office issued a strong warning in a statement regarding the situation of Palestinian prisoner Abdullah Al-Barghouthi in Israeli custody.
The statement states that Al-Barghouthi is being subjected to an organized assassination attempt inside Jalbou Prison, and that his physical and health conditions have reached a very critical stage that directly threatens his life.
The prisoners’ media office pointed to the severe beating of al-Barghouthi at the hands of the Zionist prison guards, which left his body covered in bruises, his head covered in blood clots, his eyes swollen, and his ribs broken, which is why he cannot sleep.
The statement reads: The repressive forces, led by an officer named “Amir,” storm his cell and beat him until nearly half a liter of blood flowed from his body each time. After the beating was over, they brought the dogs to tear his blood-soaked body apart. The officer orders “Bring the dogs to have fun with him.”

According to the media office, to increase the pain of al-Barghouthi, hot liquid is poured on his body after each torture. The prisoner al-Barghouthi is constantly insulted, with the officer telling him, “You used to be a leader, but today you are nothing. You should die.”
The prisoners’ media office also stated: As a result of this torture, Al-Barghouthi keeps slipping into comas, wrapped in a garbage bag and a box of toilet paper due to the lack of any protective equipment. Due to the severe pain, Al-Barghouthi is forced to sit on the floor with his head bent forward and is unable to sleep normally. He has not been able to shower for 12 days, and due to his inability to chew, he has to soak bread in water and eat it.
The statement from the prisoners’ media office emphasized that what is happening to al-Barghouti is a crime of deliberate gradual assassination that violates all international laws.
These attempts by the occupiers to assassinate leaders held in prisons will bring public anger and disgust.
The Office of Media Affairs considered the silence of the international community to be a factor in encouraging the occupiers to commit these crimes, and described this silence as a stain on the forehead of human rights defenders, and called on human rights organizations, led by the Red Cross, to take immediate action and inquire about the whereabouts of al-Barghouthi.
The prisoners’ media office also called for an international investigation and punishment of the occupiers for committing these crimes before the International Criminal Court, and called on free Palestinians around the world to come to the aid of the prisoners by holding a large-scale march.
As the genocide in Gaza continues, the Zionist regime has increased the scope of its actions against prisoners, which resulted in the martyrdom of 65 prisoners as a result of the actions of the occupiers. By early April 2025, the number of Palestinians held captive by the occupiers had increased to 9,900, including about 400 teenagers and 27 women.
