What is Al-Jolani’s next destination after Saudi Arabia?
According to the Russia Today website, Turkish media announced that Abu Muhammad al-Julani will pay an official visit to Turkey in the coming days.
Turkish newspapers reported that al-Julani is also scheduled to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during this visit.
These sources noted that the developments in northern Syria, especially the clashes between forces supported by the central government in Damascus and the SDF forces, are among the important topics in the meeting between al-Julani and Erdogan.
This is while Abu Muhammad al-Julani left for Saudi Arabia on Sunday on his first official visit with Asaad al-Shaibani.
Previously, Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani traveled to Damascus on Thursday last week on the first visit of an Arab leader to Syria since the fall of Bashar al-Assad and met and talked with al-Julani.
