PNN – A Palestinian expert said that the ultimate goal of the Israeli regime’s attacks in the northern West Bank is to dismantle the Palestinian camps located in the area.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Shahab News Agency, Khalil al-Tafakji, a Palestinian expert on settlement issues, said that the goal of the Israeli regime’s military attacks on northern West Bank cities is to dismantle the camps and eliminate the Palestinians’ right of return.
He added: The current Israeli policy at this time of destroying homes and displacing residents is in line with plans aimed at emptying Palestinian camps of residents, and this plan is being implemented in the camps of Jenin, Tulkarm, Nablus, and other areas.

The settlement affairs expert emphasized: These measures coincide with Israel’s successive moves against the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), which are aimed at completing Tel Aviv’s efforts to finally end and close the case of Palestinian refugees.
Al-Tafakji emphasized: What is happening in the West Bank today is similar to the developments in the Gaza Strip in the 1970s, when former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon carried out destructive operations and widened streets in the camps with the aim of facilitating the regime’s security control.
The West Bank, especially the Palestinian cities and camps in the north of the region, have been under attack by the Zionist regime for several months, and the occupiers of the Palestinian camps have been targeted by raids and drone strikes. These terrorist acts have led to the martyrdom of dozens of Palestinians, the injury of hundreds of others, the displacement of thousands of Palestinian families, and the destruction of infrastructure, including water and electricity networks and roads.
