PNN – During his trip to three countries in the Middle East, the US Secretary of Energy is seeking to review oil export conditions and pave the way for the country’s president to visit the Middle East.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Reuters, US Energy Secretary Chris Wright will depart for the Middle East tomorrow. Wright will start his trip in the United Arab Emirates and then head to Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
This is his first meeting as an American official with the leader of the OPEC oil producing group.
Some informed sources said the trip is expected to last about two weeks. Wright will also visit a nuclear power plant in the UAE.

This trip is expected to prepare the ground for US President Donald Trump’s visit to these countries in the middle of next month.
It should be noted that Wright’s trip to the Middle East comes at a critical time, following Trump’s surprising statements and at a time when global oil prices have reached their lowest level in four years.
Trump announced yesterday that he is seeking negotiations with Iran over its nuclear program.
He has also claimed that he wants to reduce Iran’s oil exports to zero to prevent the country from acquiring nuclear weapons.
Oil prices have reportedly fallen on concerns over Trump’s latest tariffs, which experts believe could push economies around the world into recession.
