What was Sinwar’s response to the disarmament of the resistance?

According to Al Jazeera, after Hamas completely rejected the offer to disarm the resistance in Gaza, users on social media posted the statements of the martyred Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who responded to the calls for the disarmament of the resistance.

In response, Sinwar said: Israel, which has an advanced arsenal of weapons and deliberately kills our children and women, cannot be compared to those who defend their people with simple weapons. We do not have precision missiles, but we defend ourselves with every means at our disposal. We will not raise the white flag. We do not have to die in silence to please the world.

This is while Hamas has opposed the offer put forward by the mediators for disarmament. Users on social media, while supporting Hamas’s opposition, considered it a national position.

Mahmoud Salem said: Since the beginning of the war, the resistance has declared that its weapons are non-negotiable, and after a year and a half, the weapons of the resistance are the red line.

A user named Hashem also wrote: The weapons of resistance in Gaza are not negotiable and the free people will not lay down their weapons.

Another user named Abdul Salam also wrote: Israel does not want Palestinians to exist at all, neither in Gaza nor in the West Bank.

Said Ziad also said: How can Egypt make such a proposal? The weapons of resistance are the subject of national and sacred consensus.

Khaled Safif also described the request for Gaza to disarm as a request from the heart to wash its hands of its pulse.

This request is like the Palestinian nation putting its neck under the knife.

Palestinian activist Adham Abu Salmiya also stated: The request for disarmament must be considered in light of the reality of the situation in the West Bank. The weapons of resistance are not in the West Bank, yet they have not seen peace, but rather suffer from arrests, displacements, and continuous killings.

Arab analyst Mohammed Al-Akhras also wrote: The occupiers cannot collect weapons from the streets. How can they demand the disarmament of the resistance in Gaza? The weapon that should be limited is the weapon of the occupiers, not the weapon of the victim.
