Where do the exiled Palestinian freedmen go?
According to Al Jazeera, Nahid Al-Fakhouri, the media officer for the Hamas movement’s Martyrs and Prisoners’ Office, referred to the investigation into the fate of Palestinian prisoners who were recently released from Israeli prisons and who were forced to be deported from Palestinian lands based on the text of the ceasefire agreement and said that so far 79 freed Palestinians who should be deported from occupied Palestine have entered Egypt.
He, who is also in Egypt to investigate this process, said that some of this number will reside in Egypt, and the fate of the other freed ones will be determined based on the announcement of their final number based on the exchange periods.
Al-Fakhouri noted that arrangements have been made for the presence of some of the freed ones in other countries, for example, 15 of these people will go to the Republic of Turkey tomorrow, Tuesday, and in the future 15 will go to Pakistan, and this country has agreed to the presence of these people.
This Hamas official announced that the Hamas movement is waiting for other countries to adopt clear positions regarding the freed Palestinians. Algeria has announced its initial agreement to accept a number of these prisoners from a specific group, but Tunisia has rejected the presence of freed people on its territory.
