Where is the next destination for Hamas leaders after Doha?
Rai al-Youm newspaper wrote in its analytical report by Khaled al-Jayousi: Israel seems to be moving towards maximum pressure to force Qatar to expel the leaders of the Hamas movement, as it continues its threats to repeat the military aggression on Qatari soil if they are not brought to justice (as it claims).
Media reports indicate that Hamas may be looking for other Arab countries to relocate to. It seems that Israel will not hesitate to target any country to achieve its aggressive goals against the leaders of the resistance. This raises the question – in light of the acute rift within the Arab and Islamic structure – whether there is a haven (for Hamas) that Israel cannot encroach on.
Media reports suggest that Hamas leaders may relocate to Algeria, Mauritania, or even Malaysia. Egypt is also being discussed as an option, as it plays a mediating role in the negotiations between Hamas and the Israeli occupation regime.
Given Algeria’s well-known positions in supporting the Palestinian cause and rejecting normalization of relations with the Zionist regime, Algeria has very good relations with the Hamas movement. Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune is seeking to consolidate these positions and hopes to create a center of gravity against countries that have normalized relations with the Israeli regime. Meanwhile, Algeria has refused to classify the movement as a so-called “terrorist organization” and has rejected such a classification.
In this regard, the Lebanese newspaper “Al-Akhbar” also reported that Egypt has informed the United States that any Israeli attack on its territory will have catastrophic consequences. This is while there has been talk of Cairo’s intention to host leaders of Palestinian groups.
