White House emphasizes suppression of Palestinian supporters in the US.

White House emphasizes suppression of Palestinian supporters in the US.

According to Al Jazeera, the Trump administration has adopted very strict policies in suppressing freedom of expression in the United States in line with the interests of the Zionists over the past month. These measures have now gone to the point where any criticism of the Zionist regime is classified as supporting terrorism.

Accordingly, the White House accused Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian activist and Columbia University student who was recently arrested by US security forces, of distributing Hamas propaganda materials and disrupting university classes by organizing protests.

White House spokeswoman Carolyn Leavitt claimed in a statement: “This administration will not tolerate individuals enjoying the privilege of studying in our country while at the same time supporting pro-terrorist organizations that have murdered Americans.”

She emphasized: “We have a zero-tolerance policy against supporting terrorists. Any action to support terrorist groups will be met with our strongest response.”

Leavitt also claimed that the US Secretary of State has the authority under the law to revoke visas or green cards of individuals who act contrary to the foreign policy and national security interests of the country. This action is part of the government’s efforts to counter security threats and protect the national interest.

Previously, the Trump administration had punished Columbia University in New York State by cutting off $400 million in funding for its failure to suppress anti-Zionist student protests.
